Personalize your workspace theme

Theme settings let you adjust the visual appearance of Harmony to match your environment or personal style.

Changes made here only affect your individual account and do not change the interface for other team members.

Change appearance modes

Appearance settings control whether Harmony uses light colors, dark colors, or follows your computer's settings.

1. Open Personal Settings and click the Theme tab.
2. Select System to automatically match your operating system's light or dark mode.
3. Click Light to keep the interface bright regardless of system settings.
4. Click Dark to maintain a high-contrast, dark interface at all times.

Your current mode is displayed directly below the selection tiles for quick confirmation.

Select a theme preset

Theme presets apply specific color palettes to sidebar elements, buttons, and highlights across both light and dark modes.

1. Navigate to the Theme Preset section within the Theme settings tab.
2. Click a preset tile to apply the color palette instantly.
   • Default: Classic neutral grays for a minimal look.
   • Ocean: Deep blue tones for a calm interface.
   • Forest: Natural green tones.
   • Berry: Rich purple accents.

Permissions and visibility

Theme settings are personal to your user profile. We do not sync these visual preferences across the entire organization, allowing every teammate to choose their own preferred workspace aesthetic.

Troubleshooting

Theme not updating. Refresh your browser or restart the desktop application to force a UI sync.

System mode not changing. Check your operating system settings to ensure your device is correctly configured to switch between light and dark modes.

Colors look washed out. Ensure your monitor's color profile is set to sRGB and that high-contrast accessibility features are disabled in your OS.
