Uploading Meetings or Transcripts Manually
Add existing chats, audio or video files to Harmony to generate transcripts, summaries, and AI insights for past conversations.
How to upload a file
You can upload files directly from your computer or import them via a public URL. To do so, follow the steps below:
Open the Meetings page in Harmony. Then click the Quick Launch button in the bottom-right corner.
To add your meeting Drag and drop your file into the upload window, or click Choose File to browse your computer.
You can upload audio or video recordings, paste a meeting transcript directly, or enter a publicly-accessible URL.
Pick whichever method is easiest for you—the upload window will guide you through each step.
Importing via a link? Imported links must be publicly accessible without a login (e.g., a shared Dropbox link or a public S3 URL).
Adding meeting details
Assign metadata during the upload process to ensure the recording is correctly categorized in your workspace.
Teams: Assign the recording to a specific team.
Contact: Link the meeting to a person in your CRM.
Medium: Select the communication type, such as Phone call, Chat, or Video meeting.

Supported formats and limits
Harmony supports most common media formats. Audio is automatically extracted from video files during processing.
Audio: mp3, wav, m4a, aac, ogg, flac
Video: mp4, mov, webm
Size Limit: Maximum 2GB per file.
Processing and results
Once uploaded, Harmony typically takes 2–5 minutes to process one hour of audio. You will receive a notification when the transcript and insights are ready.
Because uploaded files lack calendar metadata, you should manually edit the Speaker Labels in the Transcript tab to identify participants.
Troubleshooting
Upload failed
Ensure your file is under 2GB and uses a supported extension. If a file is rejected, try converting it to a standard mp3 and re-uploading.
Stuck in "Processing" Large files take longer to analyze. If a recording has been processing for over 30 minutes, refresh the page or contact support.
